North Devon triathlete Iain Hindes recently competed in the World Ironman Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Iain (41) from Barnstaple, represents the North Devon Tri club and completed in this, his second championships in Hawaii in 11hrs 52mins 10secs.

Despite missing training after injuring his back in a bike accident in August, the North Devon Triathlete was determined to take on the gruelling course. He finished the 2.4-mile swim in 1-06-33, the 112-mile cycle in 6-06-54 and the 26.2-mile run in 4-22-08.
